You do not need a college degree, high-school diploma, or years of landscaping experience. We care more about your work ethic, reliability, coachability, and willingness to take responsibility. This position has a clear path from entry-level technician to crew leader. You will not have to wait years for the opportunity to earn more. The faster you prove that you can produce quality work, operate independently, and lead others, the faster you can move up. Attitude Is Everything We can teach you how to mow, operate equipment, complete landscaping projects, and lead a crew. We cannot teach you to care. The right person will come to work ready to learn, accept feedback, maintain a strong pace, and take pride in completing the job correctly. Experience is helpful, but attitude is everything. We would rather hire someone inexperienced who is hungry to learn than someone experienced who is unreliable, negative, or unwilling to improve. Mistakes will happen. What matters is whether you take responsibility, learn from them, and improve. Clear Path to Higher Pay You will begin as a technician earning approximately $20-$23 per hour , depending on your experience and performance during the paid working interview. Raises are based on what you can prove you can handle—not simply how long you have worked here. Technician in Training — $20-$23 per Hour Learn our mowing standards, equipment procedures, property checklists, and expectations. Independent Technician — Increased Pay Earn more once you can consistently complete properties correctly, efficiently, and without repeated supervision. Route Leader — Additional Pay and Responsibility Take responsibility for a route, schedule, truck, trailer, equipment, and final quality inspections. Crew Leader — Approximately $24-$28 per Hour Lead another employee, manage daily production, communicate with customers, train new technicians, and make sure every property meets company standards. Future Operations Leadership As the company grows, there may be opportunities to help manage crews, train employees, coordinate routes, and oversee daily operations. There is no guaranteed timeline for advancement. Employees who become dependable, skilled, and capable of leading independently will move up faster. How You Can Earn More You can increase your pay by: Showing up consistently and on time Bringing a positive, ready-to-work attitude Producing high-quality work without repeated reminders Completing properties efficiently Learning to operate all company equipment Taking care of trucks, trailers, and tools Learning additional landscaping skills Communicating professionally with customers Training and leading other employees Taking responsibility when something goes wrong Identifying and solving problems without always being told The goal is to develop the right person into someone who can eventually run a crew and become an important part of the company's future. What You Will Do Mow, edge, trim, and blow residential properties Complete landscaping, cleanup, hedge-trimming, and property-maintenance projects Load and unload trucks, trailers, materials, and equipment Operate and maintain professional lawn-care equipment Follow property notes, schedules, and quality checklists Inspect completed properties before leaving Communicate clearly with the owner, coworkers, and customers Gradually take responsibility for routes, equipment, and other team members Who We Are Looking For At least 18 years old Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to our Georgetown meeting location Consistently arrives early and ready to work Comfortable working outdoors in the Texas heat Able to lift approximately 50 pounds Willing to work hard and maintain a strong pace Brings a positive attitude even when the work is difficult Able to accept direct feedback without becoming defensive Notices unfinished work without always being told Takes responsibility instead of making excuses Wants increased pay, responsibility, and leadership opportunities Landscaping experience is helpful but not required. We can teach the technical skills. Attitude is everything. What Will Make You Successful The strongest candidate will be someone who: Wants to prove what they are capable of Learns quickly Responds well to correction Keeps working when the job becomes difficult Remains positive and focused during long days Wants responsibility instead of avoiding it Takes pride in completing work correctly Is interested in growing with a small company Hiring Process Selected applicants will complete: A brief phone interview An in-person meeting A paid working interview or trial shift A final hiring decision shortly after the trial Applicants must be available for a paid trial shift within the next several days.
