Make a difference for homeless dogs and cats every day! Special Pals is hiring a full-time Kennel Technician to help with the daily care of our adoptable dogs and cats, and help them find new homes! Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Daily duties include ensuring cleanliness of the facility, providing excellent customer service, organizing inventory, direct animal care, and attending events outside of the shelter. Hourly pay starts at $10-12/Hr based on experience. Hours are flexible starting at 30 per week. Due to the influx of activity on the weekends, working one or both weekend days is required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; Job requires physical labor, in a partially non-air conditioned environment; Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs; Must have a valid class "C" driver's license. Special Pals is looking to expand the animal care hours and this position is for 3-11pm. Possible day shifts as needed. Veterans welcome!
