Job Description

GreenGate Turf & Pest is growing and is seeking a full-time Lawn Fertilization and Pest Control Applicator. Daily Responsibilities Prepare your truck with the correct products for the day's route. Meet with customers to diagnose and discuss lawn and/or pest concerns. Apply fertilizer, weed control, pest control, and mosquito control treatments to residential and commercial properties. Maintain clear, professional communication with office staff to support top-tier customer service.
Qualifications Outdoor Stamina & Adaptability:
Capable of working 10+ hour shifts in diverse outdoor environments and changing weather, staying focused, energetic, and positive while navigating uneven terrain and physically demanding tasks.
Strong Work Ethic:
Thrive under pressure with a no-excuses attitude. Consistently meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
Self-Motivated & Reliable:
Able to work independently, manage time well, and complete routes efficiently without supervision.
Field Troubleshooting:
Use basic mechanical skills to quickly diagnose and fix minor equipment issues in the field.
Licensed Candidates Preferred:
Active Texas SPCS or Agricultural Pesticide license is a strong plus.
Licensing Commitment:
Willing to study for and pass the required Texas SPCS and TDA exams for pest control and/or pesticide application.
Clean Record Required:
Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving history, and pass a background check per Texas Department of Agriculture licensing requirements.
Reliable Transportation Required:
Must have dependable transportation to and from work, as technician vehicles are not assigned for personal use or take-home.
