Job Description

Lee Highway Nursery is looking for an experienced Lawn Care Manager to join our team! We are seeking a knowledgeable, motivated professional who understands turf and plant health and can confidently work with customers to evaluate their property, identify problems, recommend treatments, and develop accurate estimates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet with residential and commercial customers to assess their lawn and landscape needs. Inspect properties and identify turf, plant, insect, disease, and soil-related issues. Measure lawns and properties accurately for estimating purposes. Perform soil tests and make appropriate recommendations based on results. Prepare professional and accurate estimates for lawn and plant care services. Develop lawn care treatment programs tailored to individual properties.
Have a strong understanding of:
Fertilizer applications and lawn nutrition Pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control Insect identification and control Fungicides and turf disease management Aeration and overseeding Weed identification and control Soil health and amendments Plant health care Insect and disease treatments for trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants Monitor properties and make recommendations for ongoing lawn and plant health. Communicate treatment recommendations and educate customers on their lawn and landscape needs. Maintain accurate customer records and service information. Work closely with the Lawn Care team to ensure treatments are performed properly and according to specifications. Assist with scheduling and coordinating lawn care services as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in lawn care, turf management, horticulture, landscaping, or a related field. Strong knowledge of turfgrass, fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and plant health care. Ability to accurately identify common turf and plant diseases, insects, weeds, and other problems. Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable meeting with customers and discussing recommendations and pricing. Ability to measure properties and prepare accurate estimates. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties and customers. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Pesticide applicator license/certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
