Operations ManagerPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and motivated Turf Applications Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for applying fertilizers, weed control products, insecticides, and other lawn-care treatments to residential and commercial properties while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.



ResponsibilitiesApply fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and other turf-care products according to label requirements and company procedures.



Inspect lawns and identify weeds, insects, disease, and other turf problems.



Properly mix, load, transport, and apply products using spray equipment and other application tools.



Maintain accurate records of applications, products used, and customer properties.



Operate and maintain application equipment, trucks, and related tools.



Follow all OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations regarding pesticide and fertilizer applications.



Communicate professionally with customers and address basic questions regarding lawn treatments and services.



Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.



Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.



Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and maintain a professional appearance.



Perform other lawn-care duties as needed.



QualificationsPrevious turf, landscaping, lawn-care, or pesticide application experience preferred.



Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.



Ability to obtain and maintain required pesticide applicator certification/license.



Ability to safely lift and carry equipment and materials.



Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and product labels.



Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.



Good communication and customer-service skills.



Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods.
