Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable Lawn Care Technician to join our team. Technician is responsible for delivering lawn care treatment services, including aeration and seeding. This role involves applying fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides using both hand-held and powered equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Primary Responsibilities Apply fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and perform aeration and seeding Work independently or as part of a team to service assigned properties along a designated route Follow all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures Manage daily routes and accurately document services using mobile devices Conduct thorough property inspections and provide recommendations to address lawn and landscape concerns Communicate with customers to understand needs, address concerns, and recommend additional services Maintain company vehicles and equipment according to guidelines Support general upkeep and cleanliness of the facility and grounds Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all safety and PPE requirements Perform final inspections to ensure work is completed accurately and thoroughly, the property is clean, and no damage has occurred Daily attendance and strict punctuality are mandatory. The ideal candidate takes pride in being on time every day, ready to tackle the day's responsibilities without exception. Required Qualifications Ability to obtain a VDACS Registered Technician certification within 30 days of hire (training and fees provided) Maintain consistent, daily attendance and arrive punctually for all scheduled shifts. Ability to safely operate a truck and trailer Ability to work between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM (or until work is completed) Strong verbal and written communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely while complying with all laws and company policies Must meet insurability requirements Ability to work long hours and drive extended distances Ability to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, push, lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be at least 20 years of age Must be able to pass background check and drug screening test Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required 0-2 years of experience in a customer service or related field Previous lawn care experience preferred Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Benefits 401(k) Health and dental insurance Paid time off On-the-job training

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
