Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Care and Landscaping Specialist to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes by performing a variety of groundskeeping, landscaping, and horticultural tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor environments that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential, commercial, or public spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in all weather conditions while honing your skills in landscape maintenance and grounds management. Responsibilities Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to ensure lush, healthy grass and plant growth. Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems with safety protocol adherence. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree care, shrub trimming, and garden bed upkeep. Manage hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision. Identify plants accurately to ensure proper care and pest management; apply pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines. Maintain grounds by performing snow plowing during winter months or other seasonal outdoor work as needed. Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Assist with construction projects related to landscape enhancements or hardscape installations when required. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, pruning, planting, and soil management. Familiarity with the operation of groundskeeping equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, excavators, and irrigation systems. Understanding of plant identification and horticultural practices to promote healthy growth and landscape aesthetics. Construction experience or knowledge of hardscape installation is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
