We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lawn Technician to join our team. As a Lawn Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to lawn care and maintenance. This is a part-time position. Around 35 hours a week, with competitive pay. Work weeks will be less that 35 hours during winter months.Duties:
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to maintain the health of lawns
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Install and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and tillers
- Use hand tools for digging, planting, and other manual tasks
- Provide tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Assist with landscape design and installation projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Requirements:
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and best practices
- Ability to operate power tools and mechanical equipment safely
- Familiarity with hand tools used for landscaping tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
