Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lawn Technician to join our team. As a Lawn Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to lawn care and maintenance. This is a part-time position. Around 35 hours a week, with competitive pay. Work weeks will be less that 35 hours during winter months.
Duties:
  • Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to maintain the health of lawns
  • Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers
  • Install and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
  • Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and tillers
  • Use hand tools for digging, planting, and other manual tasks
  • Provide tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal
  • Assist with landscape design and installation projects
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred
  • Knowledge of lawn care techniques and best practices
  • Ability to operate power tools and mechanical equipment safely
  • Familiarity with hand tools used for landscaping tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
