Seasonal, temporary employment What You'll Be Doing This is an outdoor, physical lawn-care position.
Daily work may include:
Mowing lawns with a push mower String trimming and edging Blowing off sidewalks, driveways, and patios Pulling weeds and maintaining garden beds Trimming bushes under 8 feet Cleaning up leaves and yard debris Installing bark dust Loading, unloading, and organizing equipment Completing other basic lawn-care and property-cleanup tasks You will work directly alongside the owner as Amery Lawn Care's only field employee. This is not a large crew where you can blend into the background. You must be able to listen to directions, stay productive, and maintain a steady, fast work pace throughout the day. What We Require At least 18 years old Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to the starting location Ability to arrive on time for every scheduled shift Ability to perform fast-paced physical labor outdoors Ability to work in rain, heat, and changing weather Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds Willingness to accept correction and adjust quickly Careful attention to customers' property and equipment Reliability is essential. You must be ready to work at the scheduled start time, not arriving at the start time. Schedule This is a seasonal position. Work is primarily scheduled on weekdays, beginning early in the morning. Hours may vary based on workload, weather, and the season. Performance Bonus A production-based bonus may become available after training. The bonus is not guaranteed and should not be considered part of expected weekly pay. Bonuses are earned only when work is completed faster than its assigned budget hours while still meeting the company's quality standards. Training time, weather, property conditions, equipment issues, and work speed can affect whether a bonus is earned. Employees should expect to receive the regular $20 hourly wage while learning the position.
