Walker's Quality Lawn Service, LLCWe are looking for an immediate part-time / seasonal helper. Ideal candidates would probably be a retired individual looking to stay active. Must be at least 25 years of age with clean acceptable driving record to operate a company vehicle. Must have a free and flexible working schedule as lawn service is greatly affected by weather. The option to work in the winter months for individuals with year-round flexibility. (snow service can be any time during the day, as well as extended work hours to get work completed). People with a criminal record may apply and be considered. Must be able to do the following work. Work duties Lawn mowing walk behind, lawn tractor, and a zero turn. (Have an eye for details, customer satisfaction) Weed eating Edging Blowing off / clean up of all areas after mowing and trimming Shoveling and digging using hand tools Trimming of bushes, shrubs and small trees. Landscaping prep and installation Occasionally cutting down and splitting of trees Proper loading and securement of equipment in trailers Fueling up of equipment gas, diesel, and 2-cycle gas Daily inspection and cleaning of equipment Basic maintenance / repair of equipment with or without help additional duties possible based on experience and availability seasonal or year-round Ability and safety Follow all work instructions and project plans / layouts Show up on time for your schedule work hours Must be able to lift and move at least 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques occasionally heavier items or team lifting Working in hot and humid weather inside or outside Working in freezing and dark conditions (year-round flexibility) Must follow all safety rules ( Wearing of safety glasses and ear plugs, safety helmet when need, gloves, high-vis safety vests, seat-belts on equipped equipment) Safe and proper use of all equipment No cell phone use while driving for approved drivers No cell phone use while on the clock and working except during breaks and passengers in vehicles Drivers filling out of pre/post trip inspections Hours and pay will be based on work history and experience, 90 day probation period.
