In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial lawns, gardens, and landscapes through expert mowing, trimming, planting, and landscape care. Your hands-on skills will help create beautiful, healthy environments that clients love to enjoy. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, and installing hardscape features. Conduct seasonal tasks including snow plowing during winter months and general yard cleanup to keep properties pristine year-round. Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and evaluating the health of trees for safety and aesthetic purposes. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools. Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred; familiarity with horticulture practices is a plus. Ability to identify different plant species and diagnose common plant health issues effectively. Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is advantageous. Strong understanding of lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and soil management.
