About Xplant Xplant is a fast-growing indoor plant company based in Apopka, Florida. We specialize in premium tropical houseplants and sell both locally and nationwide through e-commerce and live shopping platforms. We are looking for a hands-on Nursery Supervisor/Manager to help oversee daily nursery operations and ensure our plants are healthy, well-maintained, and ready for customers. Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the nursery Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies Develop and oversee watering schedules Train and supervise nursery staff Ensure plants are properly fertilized, pruned, and maintained Organize inventory and maintain accurate plant counts Prepare plants for shipping and ensure quality standards are met Receive incoming plant shipments and inspect plant quality Maintain a clean, organized, and safe nursery Assist with sourcing supplies and improving nursery efficiency Ensure compliance with Florida nursery regulations and plant health standards Qualifications Experience working in a nursery, greenhouse, or horticulture environment Strong knowledge of tropical indoor plants Ability to identify common pests and plant diseases Experience managing or supervising employees is preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Strong communication and leadership skills Speaking both English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
