PLN Nursery Crew Member

Position Summary The Nursery Labor Crew Member is responsible for supporting daily operations within the plant nursery. This role involves plant care, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is reliable, and can perform physical tasks in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and general care of nursery plants Load, unload, and move plants, soil, mulch, and other materials Prepare plants for delivery or installation Maintain cleanliness and organization of nursery areas Operate basic hand tools and nursery equipment safely Support irrigation tasks and ensure proper watering schedules Identify and report plant health issues (pests, disease, damage) Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Assist team members and supervisors with daily tasks as needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods Comfortable working in heat, humidity, rain, and varying weather conditions Qualifications Previous nursery, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred (not required) Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong work ethic and reliability Basic knowledge of plants is a plus Work Environment Outdoor, fast-paced nursery setting Exposure to weather, dirt, and plant materials What We Offer Opportunities for growth and training Hands-on experience in horticulture and landscaping
