Job Description

OUR VISION

Position Summary :
The Nursery Coordinator will be tasked with preparing curriculum in each Nursery classroom and handling all behind the scenes to keep the nursery as functional as can be. This position will support the Early Childhood Manager with preparations for Sunday services, GAC, VBS, and other Special Events.
Responsibilities and Essential Task:
  • Perform basic clerical duties such as daily reporting, relaying messages to appropriate staff, typing, filing, usage of mail and copy machines and having a strong knowledge base of Microsoft Office
  • Keep resource room orderly and stocked
  • Gather and prepare activities for Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings
  • Notify Early Childhood Manager of items that need to be replenished or tossed
  • Make sure the nursery and all its belongings are clean and restocked regularly
  • Keep stock of kiosk labels and refill kiosks regularly
  • Wash and put away all laundry in Nursery on a weekly basis
  • Participate in Central Kids events outside of regular office hours
  • Serve in Early Childhood area at least once a month
  • Rotate toys periodically in Nursery classrooms
  • Assist Early Childhood Manager with randomized tasks
Spiritual:
Has accepted Christ as his/her Savior and will accept the Central Christian Church 8-point statement of faith
Education/Certification:
Associate degree preferred or ministry experience
Required Knowledge:
Proficient in Office 365
Experience Required:
Early Childhood and/or Support experience
Skills/Abilities:
Must have strong interpersonal skills, personal integrity, and demonstrate good moral character. Showing initiative, be proactive, able to collaborate with a team or independently. Ability to communicate effectively (speaking/writing reports). Must be organized, possess an attention to detail, and show commitment to and a passion for serving Christ in mission-driven work.

Working Conditions:
Primarily office environment with the ability to engage in the community as required
Physical Requirements:
The ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, bend, reach, grip, climb, push, pull, or carry for a duration of time. Ability to lift 25 pounds. The ability to use fine motor skills including tactile while performing a task .
Pay:
$10.00
