Job Description
Groundskeeping Supervisor Shift available: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (some seasonal changes are possible) National Management Resources has provided facilities management services for over 40 years. We work in educational settings, including K-12 facilities, boarding schools, colleges, and universities all over the country. Competitive wages. We are looking for a Groundskeeping Supervisor to perform general grounds maintenance and landscaping activities while supervising staff in the landscaping and maintenance of campus grounds to provide an aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor environment.

- Direct the groundskeeping staff in daily maintenance of campus properties.
- Supervise and train assigned employees and student workers; conduct staff meetings to share department strategy, goals, and other information; train staff on usage of equipment, proper landscaping techniques, and proper safety techniques.
- Manage the physical resources of the grounds department, determine equipment needed.
- Perform, monitor, and manage tasks such as irrigation, tree removal, trimming, plumbing, parking lot maintenance, and consult with contractors to determine extent of service required and schedule work to have minimal impact on daily operations of facilities.
- Select, purchase, and monitor application of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.
- Consult with Director, grounds maintenance professionals and other staff to assess campus grounds maintenance needs.
