Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead our wholesale nursery operations. Our nursery has been expanding and growing, and it is time for a manager to help us with our day to day operations. Duties Supervise and manage 80-acre nursery growing operations and production. Oversee irrigation systems and irrigation management to ensure proper watering schedules and system maintenance Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all nursery activities to maintain consistency and quality Manage crew members and organize day to day tasks for all team members Maintain good plant health and quality of our diverse plant material General oversight of production Give nursery tours and meet with customers Skills Strong knowledge of horticulture and growing practices Managing a team of 10-15 people and preferably bilingual General knowledge of machinery and farm equipment Experience with irrigation systems and irrigation management techniques Proven ability to manage horticultural teams effectively while maintaining high standards of plant health and safety We are excited to bring in new talent to our wholesale nursery. From $80,000.00 per year
