Job Description

We are looking to add to our team! We are hiring for both nursery staff and a Full time Nursery manager. These roles both have a focus on providing a welcoming and thriving environment for plants, customers, and staff alike. This position combines hands-on work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the nursery operates smoothly and efficiently. Whether managing daily operations or engaging directly with customers, we are searching for team members with enthusiasm! This position offers opportunity to develop your skills in retail sales, plant identification and care, and customer service within a team environment. •This is an outdoor role (mostly) and you must be able to handle very high and low temperatures throughout the changing seasons• Responsibilities Oversee daily nursery operations, including stock management, merchandising, and maintaining organized displays to attract customers and promote sales. Keeping stock organized, watered, and in good health Maintaining accurate signage for sales and marketing weekly Provide advice on plant care to assist customers in making informed choices. Operating POS systems Requirements Experience or strong interest in horticulture/ gardening Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus Organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a retail environment. Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash transactions confidently Plant knowledge a plus; will train on site as well Strong customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
Pay:
$16.00 - $23.00 per hour
