Job Description

Position will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed weekly. The Town of Fountain Hills (fountainhillsaz.gov) has an excellent part-time job opportunity available as a Park Attendant. This position reports to the Senior Recreation Program Coordinator and performs simple manual and some clerical duties, with little or no supervision, in park maintenance or recreation unskilled activities. Position performs tasks such as custodial work and monitoring of the grounds. Hours are typically evenings and weekends. Monitors sites, picking up paper and trash. Provides general cleaning of buildings and restrooms Sets up apparatus and other equipment and issues supplies; preps athletic fields and ball diamonds Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality seamless customer service Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency. Six (6) months experience in related program areas preferred. Possession of a valid driver's license for a minimum of two years with a good driving record Basic First Aid and CPR/AED Certification required. Equivalent combinations of experience and training that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted. Work requires the ability to read reports. Work requires the ability to perform general math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Work requires the ability to write reports and fill out forms. Work requires the exercise of some evaluative judgment. Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public. Safety-Sensitive Position - Drug Testing Required Position is categorized as "Part-Time Non-Regularly Scheduled, Temporary, or Seasonal" employee classification. Therefore, the position does not include benefits.
