Park Aide/Gatehouse Location:

Contract Duration:

3 months - (May vary Extendable)

Shift Timing:

one shift in the mornings five days per week, one shift in the afternoon/early evening five days per week, and one shift that will be split between two mornings and two afternoons (these will be a consecutive four days). 20-25 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with gatehouse operations, including managing entry and exit points at the park. Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting visitors as needed. Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle money with accuracy. Direct traffic and ensure smooth flow of vehicles and pedestrians. Assist in maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the park area. Be flexible and adaptable to changing weather conditions and job responsibilities.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of six months of experience working with customers and operating a cash register. Ability to stand, sit, bend, and use arms to direct traffic for extended periods of time. Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record. CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Must possess the physical ability to sit, stand, bend, and use arms for directing traffic and assisting customers. Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions, including inclement weather.
