General Summary Applications are being accepted for seasonal positions with the Eaton County Parks Department. Starting Wage $15.00 per hour 2nd Year Returning Staff - $16.00 3rd Year Returning Staff - $17.00 Unless otherwise noted, these positions report to Fitzgerald or Fox Memorial Park. Vacations are not allowed. Responsible for enforcing park rules and regulations and performing public relations. See essential functions of each position for more information. Essential Functions

SEASONAL PARK STAFF

Clean shelters, restrooms and other facilities and replenish supplies. Trash, litter and debris pick up and collection. Assist in landscaping, construction and trail maintenance projects. Operate power and hand equipment including some mowing, trimming, and snow removal. Assist in maintenance on departmental equipment and vehicles. Set up reserved park areas, including moving additional tables and trash barrels as needed. This list may not be inclusive of the total scope of job functions to be performed. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or modified at any time. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least eighteen year of age. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have a valid Michigan Drivers License and a good driving record. Subject to a criminal background check, driver's license check and pre-employment physical. Must have dependable transportation. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with the public.
