Job Description
The City of Woodbury is seeking a dedicated and skilled Public Service Worker - Parks & Forestry (Forestry Emphasis) to join our Parks and Forestry Division. This position plays a key role in maintaining the community's high-quality parks system by performing a blend of forestry operations and general parks maintenance. The Park and Forestry Division mission critical high impact areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to: horticulture, turf, trails, forestry, athletic fields, ice rinks, courts, play equipment, parking lots, native areas, general park maintenance activities, and park building maintenance. The position would also be involved in providing assistance to other divisions and departments as needed such as ice and snow control. This position will be required to work alternative schedules including evenings, early mornings, and weekends, as required for the city's maintenance operations.
