Overview Tripp's Park Caretaker is a vital role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the park, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and animals alike. The caretaker will also provide dedicated care for dogs on specific days, contributing to the well-being of animals and enhancing the park experience. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic setting, supporting community enjoyment and animal care. Requirement & Benefit ,The caretaker will live on site in the ADU attached to the home. Site support hours contribute to the housing budget. Hours worked in excess of housing will be paid directly. Position possibly ideal for student going to school or someone trying to save rent money. Morning hours are set, but outside typical school/work hours. Additional upkeep hours can work around other such schedules. Duties Wake up early two days per week to care for the dogs, ensuring they are fed, exercised, and attended to with compassion and attention. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining common areas within the park, including pathways, benches, and recreational spaces to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Monitor park facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns and report them promptly. Assist with general park upkeep tasks such as trash removal, landscaping support, and minor repairs as needed. Engage positively with visitors, providing information or assistance when required to promote a friendly park environment. Skills Ability to wake up early consistently and manage morning routines effectively. Compassionate animal care skills, particularly experience caring for dogs preferred. Strong attention to detail for cleaning and maintaining common areas. Good physical stamina and reliability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills to interact courteously with visitors and team members. Responsible, dependable, and able to follow safety protocols diligently. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor maintenance, animal care, and contributing positively to community spaces.
