Gate Attendant - Hickory Creek Park (Seasonal) Ladgov Corporation - 5.0 Hickory Creek, TX Job Details Seasonal 5 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Job Summary Ladgov is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Gate Attendant to provide visitor assistance and recreation support services at Hickory Creek Park at Lewisville Lake in Lewisville, Texas . The Gate Attendant will support daily campground operations by assisting visitors, processing recreation use fees, managing reservations, maintaining accurate records, and providing information about park facilities, rules, and services. The ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent service to park visitors. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist park visitors by providing information regarding campground facilities, reservations, rules, and available services. Collect recreation use fees and process payments according to established procedures. Issue visitor permits, passes, and reservation documentation as required. Process campsite reservations, cancellations, refunds, and visitor inquiries using designated reservation systems. Maintain accurate records of campsite occupancy, arrivals, departures, cancellations, and visitor activity. Monitor campground status and ensure reservation information remains current. Conduct routine inspections of assigned park areas and report any maintenance concerns, safety issues, or rule violations. Inform visitors of campground rules, regulations, quiet hours, and proper facility use. Document visitor complaints, incidents, lost-and-found items, and other required reports. Provide professional customer service and maintain a courteous and helpful attitude when interacting with the public. Maintain a clean and organized gatehouse/work area. Report accidents, emergencies, disturbances, or significant issues to appropriate park personnel. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with visitors from diverse backgrounds. Ability to maintain accurate records and handle administrative tasks. Basic computer skills and ability to learn reservation/payment systems. Ability to work independently and follow established procedures. Reliable transportation and ability to perform duties at the assigned park location. Must maintain a professional appearance while representing the company. Work Schedule Seasonal position supporting Hickory Creek Park operations.
