Duties Assist with pest inspections and identify common pests using established guidelines. Learn and perform safe handling and application of pest control chemicals following all safety protocols. Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery responsibly during daily tasks. Support the setup and use of ladders for access to high or hard-to-reach areas, adhering strictly to ladder safety procedures. Follow integrated pest management strategies to effectively control pests while minimizing environmental impact. Communicate clearly with customers to explain treatment plans, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, treatments performed, and safety procedures followed. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery. Knowledge of ladder use, ladder safety procedures, and confined space entry safety procedures. Understanding of pesticide management, chemical agent handling, pesticide application knowledge, and respiratory protection practices. Experience or interest in outdoor work environments such as lawn care, farming, landscaping or agriculture is a plus. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols related to pest control chemical handling and pesticide management. Willingness to learn about entomology (the study of insects) and integrated pest management techniques. Valid driving license with experience operating company vehicles safely; familiarity with farm machinery is advantageous.
