We provide 40 hours of paid, hands-on training , cover the cost of your state licensing and certification, and continue coaching you throughout your introductory period. Already licensed? You'll be considered for a higher starting wage based on your experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Inspect residential and commercial properties for signs of pest activity and identify treatment needs. Safely apply pesticides and pest management products in accordance with company procedures and state regulations. Perform pest, termite, mosquito, and rodent treatments using hand tools, ladders, and other equipment. Educate customers on treatment plans, prevention strategies, and recommended services. Complete accurate electronic service reports and maintain detailed treatment records. Operate and maintain a clean, organized company vehicle. Follow all company safety policies and maintain a professional appearance. Provide outstanding customer service while representing The Pest Detective with integrity and professionalism. Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that benefit the customer. Qualifications We're willing to train the right person! Prior pest control experience is not required .

Ideal candidates will have:

The ability to learn quickly and apply new skills in the field. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance. The ability to adapt to changing situations and solve problems independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record . The physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds . The ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders when necessary. Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The ability to safely operate tools and equipment after training. The ability to pass a background check and drug screening . Three professional references from current or former supervisors, managers, or employers. Preferred (but not required): Current Arkansas Pest Control License (higher starting pay available). Previous pest control experience or familiarity with common household pests and pesticide applications. Experience in construction, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping, agriculture, lawn care, or another skilled trade. Familiarity with residential construction, home systems, crawl spaces, or home repair.
