Verde Valleys #1 Pest Control Company is growing and we need a pest control technician. We already have customer ready to service, so the job is a mixture of pest control and building a route. No sales involved, you service existing customers, and then hand out flyers on neighborhood doors to continue building your route. You'll also get extra commission on every customer that calls in from your door hangers. In the process, we will pay for training and to get your pest control license so it's a great opportunity for a career change. As you build into a full route, you'll transition to a commission, with a guarantee so you have an opportunity to grow. This can also be a part time position to start out with, so there is definitely room for flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Hand out door hangers to advertise for more pest control customers
• Conduct pest control treatments and inspections at customer locations
• Identify and assess pest problems, determining appropriate treatment methods
• Use power tools, hand tools, and equipment to apply pesticides and perform pest control tasks
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
• Drive company vehicles to customer sites in a safe and responsible manner
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pest control or related field is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and customers service skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Basic computer skills for record keeping purposes
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Skills:

• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools for pest control tasks
