This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, operate company vehicles, and develop specialized skills in integrated pest management. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of commercial properties to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately following pesticide management and application knowledge. Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas for treatment. Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each client's needs, emphasizing environmentally responsible practices. Operate company vehicles responsibly while maintaining compliance with driving safety standards. Follow all safety protocols including ladder safety procedures, respiratory protection use, confined space entry safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines. Communicate clearly with clients about pest issues, treatment plans, and safety precautions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in pest control or related outdoor work such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery. Knowledge of pesticide application techniques and pesticide management best practices. Familiarity with entomology principles to identify pests accurately and recommend effective treatments. Ability to safely operate ladders and adhere to ladder safety procedures at all times. Experience handling chemical agents with a focus on pest control chemical handling protocols. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly. Understanding of safety protocol adherence including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection requirements. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly.
