This energetic position involves identifying, controlling, and preventing weeds and pests across diverse outdoor settings. You'll have the opportunity to work outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing a range of tools and equipment to ensure our clients' properties are pest-free and lushly maintained. Your proactive approach will help promote sustainable land management practices while delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas to identify weed infestations and pest activity. Apply appropriate pest control solutions using hand tools, power tools, in accordance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Utilize knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, and agriculture to recommend effective treatment plans for clients. Operate vehicles safely for transportation between job sites, ensuring compliance with all driving regulations. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, areas inspected, and materials used for each job. Assist with the setup and maintenance of equipment such as sprayers, trimmers, and other power tools to optimize efficiency. Educate clients on best practices for weed prevention and pest management to promote long-term land health. Skills Strong knowledge of pest control methods, lawn care practices, landscaping principles, and agriculture fundamentals. Experience handling hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively. Ability to operate a vehicle confidently for site visits and transportation needs. Excellent observational skills to accurately identify pests, weeds, and damage signs. Good communication skills to explain treatments clearly to clients and team members. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for active tasks. Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry best practices.
