This position involves providing residential and commercial/industrial pest-control services while building positive, professional relationships with our customers. Previous pest-control experience is welcome but not required. We are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn, comfortable working independently, and physically able to work extended hours outdoors in Arizona heat. Responsibilities Inspect residential and commercial/industrial properties for pest activity, conducive conditions, and possible entry points. Complete scheduled pest-control services thoroughly, safely, and efficiently. Apply pesticides and other pest-management products according to label directions, company procedures, and Arizona regulations. Use integrated pest-management methods to treat and help prevent pest activity. Safely operate standard pest-control equipment, hand tools, ladders, and company vehicles. Maintain accurate records of products applied, treatment areas, pest activity, and customer concerns. Explain completed services and pest-prevention recommendations clearly and professionally to customers. Communicate scheduling issues, unusual conditions, customer concerns, and follow-up needs to the office. Keep equipment, supplies, and the assigned service vehicle clean and organized. Follow all company, product-label, and workplace safety requirements. Skills Previous pest-control experience is welcome but not required. Willingness and ability to learn residential and commercial/industrial pest-control services. Ability to work extended hours outdoors in Arizona heat while following required safety and hydration procedures. Ability to safely lift and carry pest-control equipment and supplies and use a ladder when necessary. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to manage a daily service route and work independently. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to read and follow product labels, service instructions, and safety procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate service records. Ability to treat customers, coworkers, homes, and businesses respectfully and professionally.
