Duties Conduct inspections to identify mole activity, burrowing patterns, and signs of vermin presence across various outdoor settings. Implement targeted pest control treatments using chemical agents, traps, or mechanical devices following pesticide management protocols. Safely handle and apply pest control chemicals, ensuring compliance with pesticide application knowledge and safety protocol adherence. Operate company vehicles and outdoor power tools such as lawn care equipment, hand tools, and farm machinery to perform treatments and maintenance. Use ladders safely to access elevated areas for inspection or treatment while following ladder safety procedures. Engage with customers professionally to explain pest issues, treatment plans, and preventive measures, enhancing customer service experience. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, treatment locations, and pest activity reports for ongoing integrated pest management strategies. Experience Prior experience in pest control or outdoor work such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. Familiarity with ladder use, power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery is preferred to facilitate efficient treatments. Knowledge of entomology principles related to pests like moles and vermin enhances effectiveness in diagnosis and treatment planning. Understanding of confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection ensures safe working conditions during chemical handling. Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to follow safety protocols are essential for success in this role. Experience operating company vehicles responsibly and adhering to driving regulations is required for daily operations.
