Job Description

We're looking to hire a Licensed Certified Pest Control Operator / Technician to join our commercial Landscape company here in DeLand, FL. We offer an hourly wage ranging from $25 /hr up to $29 /hr with room to grow (Based on experience & work output). Must have a valid Florida Certified Pest Control Operator "with lawn and ornamental category" License. We are looking for a motivated, dependable professional who understands turf health, takes pride in producing quality results, communicates well with customers, and wants the opportunity to help build and eventually lead a growing Fertilization & Pest Control division. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

WHY THIS POSITION IS DIFFERENT
This is more than a standard application position. You will have the opportunity to help build and grow our lawn fertilization division, improve procedures, develop strong customer relationships, identify turf problems, recommend solutions, earn commissions, and work directly with ownership. As the division grows, the right person will have the opportunity to help develop programs, train future employees, improve department performance, and potentially oversee the division.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply fertilizer, weed-control, and pest-control products to commercial properties Diagnose turf and landscape health issues Recommend treatments and property improvements Maintain accurate application and service records Safely operate and maintain spray and spreader equipment Follow all product-label and state application requirements Communicate professionally with commercial property managers and clients Identify additional treatment and enhancement opportunities Assist with developing estimates and proposals Help improve department procedures, organization, and profitability
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Certified pest control operator "with lawn and ornamental category" Licensed Knowledge of turf health, weeds, insects, and common lawn problems Valid driver's license with a good driving record Dependable, organized, and self-motivated Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team Strong attention to detail Someone who takes pride in producing quality results Interest in growing into a leadership role
