Job Description

Job Summary:
Looking to hire a dedicated Landscape Technician . Applicants need to be knowledgable in Florida grass and target problem lawns, know how to mix pesticides, herbicides in tanks and back pack sprayers, Z-spray operations. Must be a current Certified Operator L & O license holder. Must be a responsible, reliable individual who must have a clean / valid FL Driver's License; clean background check for high security locations. Ability to safely operate a box truck / spray rig. Guaranteed full time hours
Monday-Friday Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of Lawn and Ornamental pest control is non negotiable, but training will be provided
  • Can perform lawn care duties such as fertilizing, Pest Control Application, Herbicide Applications.
  • Has a valid Drivers License and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Implement pest control measures to protect plant health
  • Proficiency in spray equipment, Z-Spray machine, hand spreaders operations etc.
  • Ability to drive company vehicles safely to various job sites, ability to operate and maintain machinery for landscaping tasks
  • Knowledge of lawn care techniques and equipment
  • Experience with hand tools for landscaping tasks
  • Understanding of pest control methods in landscaping
  • Competence in using various power tools for landscaping projects
  • Is able to pass a background check to obtain a State Applicators ID Card.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis and operate in typical Florida climate.
Mandatory 1 week orientation and specialty training is provided and paid for by company. ID Card holder and current license (CPO) is a must. 2 years current experience is a must.
