Job Overview Are you a motivated, detail-oriented individual who enjoys hands-on, problem-solving work in a changing environment? Wildlife Works LLC is hiring Integrated Pest Management Technicians to join our team in Ocala, FL. This position focuses on inspecting, treating, and monitoring residential and commercial properties for common household pests. Previous pest control experience is preferred, and candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are strongly encouraged to apply. Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity, conducive conditions, and entry points Apply pesticides, insecticides, and other treatments in accordance with label instructions and safety protocols Set, monitor, and service traps and bait stations for common household pests Use hand and power tools for treatment access, minor repairs, and installation of monitoring devices Work on ladders, rooftops, and within attics or crawl spaces as needed Lift, move, and transport materials and equipment (50-70 lbs) Identify pest species and basic signs of activity to inform treatment strategies Follow Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) regulations and pesticide label requirements Arrive on job sites within scheduled timeframes Work collaboratively with team members while also completing tasks independently Follow direction, troubleshoot issues, and problem-solve in the field Maintain accurate service and treatment records Provide a personal vehicle for travel to and from the shop (company vehicles provided for daily job operations)
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and positive attitude Previous pest control experience preferred Experience with hand and power tools Ability to follow instructions and complete physical tasks efficiently Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Creative and adaptive problem-solving abilities Willingness to obtain and maintain any required Florida pest control certification/license, if not already held Willingness to comply with all company, local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs Ability to climb ladders and safely access rooftops Comfortable working in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather year-round Ability to drive throughout the state of
Florida Preferred Candidates Will Have:
Previous pest control experience (general household, termite, or rodent treatment) Active FDACS Pest Control Operator certification/license, or the ability to obtain one Flexible availability, including occasional weekends Reliable transportation and strong attendance
