​ Pest Control Technician PestBear | Full-Time | In-Person (Sarasota, FL)

Pay:

As a Pest Control Technician, you will serve as the face of our company, protecting local homes and businesses while solving complex pest problems. ​We don't just hire route drivers—we invest in future industry leaders. We supply you with a company truck, gas card, uniform, and mobile phone. ​ Key Responsibilities ​

Technical & Field Operations:

Execute precise, high-standard interior and exterior product applications (including crack-and-crevice treatments, void dusting, and targeted baiting) in full compliance with company and environmental guidelines. ​

Route & Inventory Discipline:

Drive a company vehicle safely, execute tight morning route check-ins, maintain clean equipment, and manage vehicle chemical inventory according to branch safety standards. ​

Customer Service & Sales:

Build lasting relationships with clients, conduct thorough property inspections, educate homeowners on pest risks (including seasonal mosquito services), and close add-on sales to boost your commission earnings. ​

Field Navigation:

Safely navigate varied environments, including crawl spaces, attics, roofs, and tight structural passages. ​ Qualifications & Requirements ​

Age & Driving:

Must be at least 23 years old with a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record. ​

Mindset & Drive:

Coachable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Prior pest experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to follow established operational systems is required. ​

Education & Math:

High school diploma/GED (or 1-3 months related experience/training) and basic math skills for mixing and calibrating product formulas. ​

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, management, and teammates via phone, text, email, and in person. ​

Licensing:

Ability to obtain and maintain state-required pest control licenses (fully paid for by PestBear). ​

Location:

Schedule:

8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, with weekends as needed
