Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply chemical agents safely and accurately using proper pest control chemical handling procedures, including pesticide application knowledge. Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas for effective pest treatment. Follow integrated pest management strategies to develop customized treatment plans that prioritize safety and environmental responsibility. Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all driving safety regulations and company policies. Implement ladder safety procedures and confined space entry safety procedures when working at heights or in restricted areas. Maintain detailed records of pesticide use, chemical inventory, treatment logs, and safety protocol adherence for compliance purposes. Engage with customers professionally to explain treatment processes, answer questions, and ensure their satisfaction with our pest control solutions. Skills Strong knowledge of pest control techniques, including pesticide management and pest control chemical handling. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, farming equipment, lawn care tools, and other outdoor machinery. Familiarity with entomology principles to accurately identify pests and recommend effective treatments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently, including respiratory protection and chemical handling procedures. Experience with ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, and general outdoor work environments. Knowledge of agricultural practices such as farming or landscaping is a plus for integrated pest management in outdoor settings.
