Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Mosquito Control Technician to join our team. This role involves applying pest control solutions to reduce mosquito populations and improve outdoor safety for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, or landscaping is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment while contributing to community health and safety. Responsibilities Apply mosquito control treatments using appropriate pest control methods and equipment Inspect designated areas for mosquito breeding sites and potential pest issues Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and efficiently Maintain and calibrate spraying equipment to ensure proper application Assist with the setup and cleanup of treatment sites Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during application procedures Document treatment activities accurately and report any issues or concerns to supervisors Engage with clients professionally, providing information about mosquito prevention strategies when necessary Skills Experience or knowledge in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is advantageous Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely Valid driving license with a clean driving record preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed This role is perfect for individuals passionate about outdoor work and community health. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
