Job Description

Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience providing pest control services in apartment communities and understands the importance of working efficiently while maintaining excellent service and communication with property management and residents. The technician will be responsible for performing routine pest control services, inspections, treatments, and follow-up services while following company procedures and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled pest control services in apartment units, common areas, and exterior areas. Inspect units and identify signs of pest activity, entry points, and conditions contributing to infestations. Treat common pests including cockroaches, ants, spiders, rodents, and other household pests. Perform German cockroach treatments and other specialty pest control services as needed. Follow approved treatment methods, product labels, and safety procedures. Properly document each service in the required pest log or company system. Communicate pest activity, property issues, access problems, and treatment recommendations to the office or property management. Notify the office/team when traveling between service locations as required. Maintain professional communication with residents, property managers, maintenance staff, and coworkers. Keep company equipment, vehicle, chemicals, and supplies clean, organized, and properly maintained. Complete assigned services within the scheduled time while maintaining quality standards. Perform callbacks and follow-up treatments when assigned. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of pest control experience in apartment complexes or multifamily communities is required. Knowledge of common residential pests and appropriate treatment methods. Ability to work independently and manage multiple units and service locations. Strong attention to detail and ability to properly document services. Good communication and customer service skills. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to work in different environments, including occupied and vacant apartments. Ability to lift equipment and supplies and perform physical work as required. Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and willing to follow company procedures. State-required pest control license or certification is preferred, or the ability to obtain one if required. Preferred Experience Experience working directly with apartment communities, property management companies, maintenance teams, and multifamily housing is strongly preferred. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
