This position is ideal for an experienced pest control professional looking for supplemental income and flexible work . Hours will initially vary based on customer demand and technician availability, with the opportunity for additional work as the company grows. Our team will handle customer acquisition, scheduling, billing, and general business operations. Your primary responsibility will be completing scheduled pest control service appointments safely, professionally, and in compliance with Illinois requirements. Responsibilities Travel to scheduled residential pest control appointments throughout the Chicagoland area Inspect properties to identify pest activity and determine appropriate treatment Perform pest control treatments safely and effectively Properly handle and apply approved pest control products according to label directions and applicable regulations Maintain accurate service and pesticide application records Communicate findings and treatment information professionally with customers Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company Follow all applicable safety procedures and Illinois structural pest control requirements Qualifications Current Illinois Structural Pest Control Technician certification strongly preferred Previous professional pest control experience required Knowledge of common residential pests and treatment methods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel to customer locations throughout the Chicagoland area Ability to work independently in the field Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Personal pest control equipment is a plus, but not required Schedule This is a part-time, flexible position with variable hours based on customer demand . It is especially suited for an experienced pest control technician seeking additional work around an existing schedule. Availability may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends depending on technician availability and customer appointments. No guaranteed minimum number of hours is being offered at this time. Pay $23.00-$30.00 per hour , depending on certification, experience, and qualifications.
