Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician 7A and become a vital part of our mission to provide safe, effective pest management solutions. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in pest control techniques, chemical handling, and customer service to protect properties and improve the quality of life for our clients. Your proactive approach and technical skills will ensure efficient pest eradication while adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop specialized knowledge in entomology and integrated pest management within a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural sites to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and effectively, following all pesticide management and safety protocol guidelines. Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, and ladder systems to reach high or difficult areas during treatment procedures. Implement integrated pest management strategies by combining mechanical, biological, and chemical controls to achieve sustainable results. Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest activity reports, and treatment outcomes for compliance and future reference. Educate clients on pest prevention techniques, safety measures, and proper use of pest control products. Follow all safety procedures related to confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection use, ladder safety procedures, and chemical handling protocols. Requirements Proven experience in pest control or related outdoor work such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture. Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and ladder systems safely. Strong understanding of pesticide application knowledge including pesticide management and integrated pest management principles. Knowledge of entomology to accurately identify pests and recommend appropriate control methods. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly with a valid driver's license; experience with farm machinery is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Commitment to safety protocol adherence including confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection standards, ladder use safety procedures, and chemical handling regulations. Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions; experience with outdoor environments such as farms or landscaped areas is advantageous. $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
