Job Description

Family owned, local pest control operation based out of Marion, IN looking to hire a full-time Pest Control Technician and Agricultural Fumigation specialist. The right person for this job will be reliable, self-motivated and hard working. Must possess a valid Pest Control Structural Applicator's License. 7A Structural Pest Control License is required. Travel is required, some overnight. All expenses are paid, and a company cell phone will be provided. This position will require you to obtain proper licenses. Employees are subject to random drug testing to meet DOT requirements. Generous compensation includes base pay plus commission, as well as a benefit package with health insurance and paid vacation. Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Fumigate poultry barns and other agriculture buildings Operate machinery including forklift Inspect commercial and residential buildings and the surrounding property to identify the type and source of infestation, determine how much damage has been done and secure access to the infested locations Measure the dimensions of the infested area to calculate the requirements for fumigants, and provide the client with an estimated cost for service Develop treatment plans and prevention methods to remove pest problems for clients and reduce the risk of re-infestation Provide clients with safety warnings and other directions regarding leaving the premises or covering sensitive furnishing and other items during the treatment process
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Dependability and reliability in performance of independent tasks Professional appearance and demeanor Strong customer service skills Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Current, valid in-state driver's license Ability to pass a drug test and DOT physical Previous Pest Control and/or agricultural experience required

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
