Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and assess risk levels. Apply chemical agents safely and accurately using appropriate pesticide application techniques, including handling pest control chemicals and managing pesticide inventories. Utilize mechanical tools, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for pest control tasks and property maintenance. Follow strict safety protocols including ladder safety procedures, respiratory protection, confined space entry safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines. Implement integrated pest management strategies by combining chemical treatments with environmental modifications for long-term pest prevention. Operate company vehicles responsibly while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards during transportation of equipment and chemicals. Provide excellent customer service by explaining treatment plans, addressing client concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with the pest control process. Requirements Prior outdoor work experience in fields such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery is essential. Knowledge of pesticide management, pesticide application procedures, and pest control chemical handling is required. Understanding of entomology principles related to pest behavior and identification enhances effectiveness in the role. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols including ladder use, ladder safety procedures, respiratory protection measures, and confined space entry safety procedures. Strong customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward client communication and problem-solving. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; familiarity with land-based equipment such as farm machinery is a plus. Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions while using hand tools and power equipment efficiently.
