Crawlspace & Termite Technician - Paid Training, No Experience Required Orkin Pest Control - Paducah, KY $18/hr to start — more with experience | Full-time | Monday-Friday Looking for steady, year-round work with a company that'll train you and give you room to move up? Orkin's Paducah branch is hiring a technician to do crawlspace encapsulation, insulation, and termite treatment work. This is real hands-on work. You'll be under houses installing vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, and sump pumps, pulling out old insulation and putting in new, treating homes for termites, and taking care of moisture and fungus problems. If you don't mind tight spaces and like seeing a nasty crawlspace turned into a clean, dry one, you'll do well here.
A typical day:
Installing vapor barrier and encapsulation systems in crawlspaces Insulation removal and installation Termite treatments — liquid applications and bait systems Fungus treatments and moisture control work Documenting your work and reporting findings to the service manager What you need: Comfortable working in crawlspaces daily — this is the job Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your knees and back Valid driver's license with a clean record Show up on time, work hard, and take pride in doing the job right Pest control, construction, or insulation experience is a plus — but we'll train the right person from scratch What you get: Health insurance 401k after 1 year 1 week PTO after 1 year, plus 3 sick days Paid training and your Kentucky pesticide applicator certification Company vehicle, tools, and equipment — no buying your own gear Year-round work, not seasonal A clear path to lead tech and service manager roles We're hiring fast, so if this sounds like you, apply today.
