ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Mosquito Squad is seeking a pest professional who will be responsible for inspecting residential and commercial properties, identifying pest activity, developing appropriate treatment plans, and performing professional pest management services. This position will focus primarily on general household and commercial pests, while working alongside our mosquito and tick control operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, safety-conscious, and interested in building a career in the pest management industry.

CANDIDATE WILL

• Inspect residential and commercial properties for signs of pest activity and potential pest entry points.
• Identify common pests and determine appropriate control methods.
• Develop and communicate effective pest management solutions based on customer needs.
• Perform interior and exterior general pest control services in accordance with company standards, safety procedures, and pesticide label requirements.
• Install, inspect, service, and maintain rodent bait stations and monitoring devices.
• Treat for common pests including, but not limited to: o Ants o Spiders o Wasps and stinging insects o Rodents o Cockroaches o Termites o Other common household and commercial pests
• Lawfully and safely drive a company vehicle to customer homes and commercial properties.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and pesticide application equipment in clean and proper operating condition.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete all required paperwork.
• Communicate with customers regarding upcoming services, pest activity, and recommended follow-up treatments.
• Perform Body Cam Audits with technicians as requested by management.
• Assist with training and mentoring technicians in general pest control procedures as experience and qualifications develop.
• Support the continued development and growth of the company's General Pest Division.
• Perform mosquito and tick control services as needed and as trained.
• Follow all company policies, pesticide regulations, safety procedures, and product label instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

o Must possess a Massachusetts Pesticide Core License or be willing and eligible to obtain one.

• Previous pest control experience preferred, but qualified candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn may be considered.
• Must be willing to participate in advanced training in general pest management.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be comfortable working indoors, outdoors, in crawl spaces, basements, attics, and other challenging environments when required.
• Must have strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Must demonstrate a positive, professional attitude.
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Must be willing to learn new pest management techniques, products, and equipment.
