Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Specialist to join our team. This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest infestations while providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control, lawn care, or related fields such as farming, landscaping, or agriculture. A valid driver's license and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and driving are essential. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors and develop expertise in pest management and related services. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues Apply appropriate pest control treatments using industry-standard methods and equipment Perform lawn care, landscaping, or agricultural tasks as needed to support pest prevention efforts Use hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively for treatment applications and property maintenance Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and recommend ongoing maintenance plans Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and client interactions Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols Assist with general property upkeep including landscaping or farming-related activities when required Requirements Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is preferred Knowledge of pest management techniques and use of relevant tools and equipment Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads when necessary Willingness to learn new skills related to pest control and property maintenance Must be detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality service delivery
