Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply chemical agents, pesticides, or integrated pest management techniques safely and accurately according to industry standards. Operate ladders, hand tools, farm machinery, and company vehicles to access hard-to-reach areas or outdoor sites. Follow strict safety protocols including ladder safety procedures, respiratory protection use, confined space entry safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines. Educate customers on pest prevention strategies and provide exceptional customer service throughout each interaction. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and pest activity observations for compliance and reporting purposes. Adhere to all safety regulations related to pesticide management, chemical application, and equipment use during outdoor work or in confined spaces. Skills Strong knowledge of pest control techniques, pesticide application methods, and integrated pest management strategies. Mechanical knowledge for operating various tools such as ladders, hand tools, lawn care equipment, and farm machinery. Experience with chemical agent handling including pesticides and pest control chemicals with proper safety precautions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about treatment plans and prevention tips. Familiarity with entomology principles to accurately identify pests and recommend appropriate control measures. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while maintaining a clean driving record. Outdoor work experience in environments such as farms, landscaping projects, or agricultural settings is highly valued.
