What You'll Do Perform residential and commercial mosquito control treatments, including barrier sprays, larvicide application, and In2Care or misting system service where applicable Inspect properties to identify mosquito breeding sites and conducive conditions Communicate directly with customers about treatment plans, results, and prevention tips Maintain accurate service records and treatment documentation Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and application equipment Represent Zipp Zapp professionally in the field, on time, in uniform, and with pride What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate residential/commercial properties Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude Prior pest control, lawn care, or landscaping experience is a plus, but not required, we train the right people Maryland pest control/mosquito applicator license preferred, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days (company-sponsored) Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on a route Why Zipp Zapp Instead of a National Chain Starting pay of $21/hour, competitive with or above entry rates at Orkin and Terminix in this market Direct access to ownership, no corporate call center, no red tape, decisions get made fast Clear path into installation and specialty treatment work, where top techs earn commission on top of hourly pay Locally owned and Baltimore-based, your route stays in your community, not reassigned by a regional office A company still small enough that your voice and your work ethic actually move the needle Compensation & Benefits $21.00/hour starting pay Performance and tenure-based pay increases Company vehicle, phone, and equipment provided for route work Paid training and licensing support Growth opportunities into senior technician, installation, and lead roles
