Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients by effectively managing pest-related issues. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points. Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various methods, including chemical applications and traps. Utilize farm machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively during pest control operations. Provide clients with recommendations for preventative measures and maintenance to reduce future infestations. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and client interactions. Educate clients on pest behavior, prevention techniques, and the importance of ongoing pest management. Drive to various job sites efficiently while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with farm machinery, hand tools, power tools, and landscape maintenance is advantageous. Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings to clients. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail when assessing pest issues. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites. A commitment to safety practices and environmental responsibility in all aspects of work.
