Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician and become a vital part of maintaining safe, pest-free environments for our clients. In this energetic role, you'll apply your expertise to identify, treat, and prevent pest issues across residential, commercial, and agricultural settings. Your proactive approach will ensure our customers enjoy peace of mind while you develop your skills in pest management. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and potential entry points Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals or eco-friendly solutions with precision and safety Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and recommend ongoing maintenance plans Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and client interactions for compliance and reporting purposes Requirements Conduct thourough interior and exterior inspections to locate pests Offer sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options Prepare estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance Set traps and/or put out bait to eliminate rodents Spray interior and perimeter of homes and structures for spiders, roaches, ants, and other insects Provide safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bee nests Recommend products and services for effective pest control.
Skills and Qualifications:
Have a clear understanding of the safety protocols for pest control, including wearing properly- fitted repirators when working with chemicals and donning protective clothing and gloves when necessary Physical stamina to endure heavy lifting of equipment and excessive bending and kneeling to locate pest in hard to reach areas Good interpersonal and communication skills when speaking with customers and advising on treatment methods Storng attention to detail when performing pest detection and treatment procedures Willingness to learn new extermination techniques and procedures based on industry trend Basic math skills Join us in creating healthier environments while advancing your career! $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
