In this energetic role, you will utilize your expertise in pest management, chemical application, and customer service to protect homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces. Your proactive approach and technical skills will ensure effective pest elimination while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop specialized knowledge in entomology and pesticide management, and make a tangible difference in clients' environments. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately following pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols Utilize hand tools, ladders, farm machinery, and other equipment to access hard-to-reach areas for pest treatment Implement integrated pest management strategies that prioritize environmentally responsible solutions Educate customers on pest prevention techniques and provide excellent customer service throughout the service process Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, treatment locations, and pest activity reports Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection standards, and other safety protocols Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or background in lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools and farm machinery Knowledge of pesticide application techniques, pest control methods, and chemical agent handling is essential Strong understanding of entomology principles related to pest identification and behavior Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment following ladder use and ladder safety procedures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interaction Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred Commitment to safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures Join us if you're passionate about protecting environments from pests while delivering outstanding service!
