A Pest Control Technician controls problems with unwanted animals and insects in residences, commercial buildings and the areas around them. Inspects buildings, identifies pests and determines pest control treatment. Provides applications of chemical pesticides and sets traps or bait. Makes minor building repairs as needed to keep pests out.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement effective pest control treatment plans
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products to eliminate pests
- Seal off entry points to prevent future infestations
- Provide recommendations to customers on how to prevent pest problems
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of landscape, lawn care, and farm machinery is a plus
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
